My World On Stage ❤️

Opera: My journey on stage began with the Royal Opera House in London! I had the honor of performing in La Bohème as the girl in the yellow dress. It streamed globally on cinemas and Netflix if you ever want to check it out! I also appeared in Otello and Cavalleria Rusticana & Pagliacci (Cal & Pag). The English National Opera, the Royal Albert Hall and The Barbican in London were other stages I was honored to perform. I loved every moment on stage!

Madonna Collaboration: A standout moment in my musical journey was collaborating with Madonna on her Madame X album. I had the privilege of contributing vocals to two songs, spending a full day in the studio with her. The experience was nothing short of fantastic, learning from an icon who has continually reinvented the music industry. It was a significant milestone in my career that taught me the intricacies of professional recording at the highest level and inspired me to start songwriting

Hollywood Film: My venture into film was another avenue where I could bring stories to life, this time through the lens of a camera. In the Hollywood film Last Christmas, I worked alongside Emilia Clarke and Emma Thompson, which was as much a learning experience as it was a delight. Playing a role in the opening choir scene, I got a firsthand look at the intricacies of filmmaking and the meticulous attention to detail that goes into every shot. Working with such talented actresses was incredibly inspiring!

5G Concerts: Last but not least, I helped my dad a lot in his 5G technology journey by performing at various occasions. I was part of the world’s first bi-directional and later, tri-directional 5G concerts. This groundbreaking technology allowed me to sing in London while my dad played the piano in Berlin, collapsing physical distances and creating a new form of musical experience. I then also spoke about the experience and innovations at TEDx.

Royal Opera House

Having been a regular child performer in La Bohème in the Royal Opera House in London for many years provided me with a captivating perspective on the opera’s rich narrative and the broader world of theatrical performance. In my role as the girl in the yellow dress (see DVD cover), I was immersed in a world that was at once wondrous and deeply moving.

The stage became a place of comfort for me when I least expected it. Even in tough moments in my life, I felt grounded and secure everytime I walked on to perform. I dedicated my whole life to operas and I put every inch of sweated effort into becoming the role I was meant to play. With the 9 hour rehearsals 4-6 times a day, I learned what true effort and lengths the conductors went to make every opera perfect. I even remember a time where I had 102 Farenheit fever and I performed anyways. After I did faint off stage, but I didn’t care. The stage to me was my perfect dream and that’s all I cared for.

And I have to admit that I loved the candy given to us during the performance. It made me forget the immense pressure of being on stage, of being in the limelight in front of hundreds of people and it allowed me to feel natural and comfortable there.

Madonna

Singing with Madonna on her Madame X album was an experience that transcends words. I had the privilege of contributing vocals to two songs, spending an entire day in the studio with one of the most iconic figures in music. This was more than just a recording session; it was a masterclass in artistry and expression.

I vividly remember the bus which took us to a secret location in London, what seemed to look like a church. It turned out to be her recording studio. We are not allowed to bring in any mobile phones or electronic devices. But the moment we entered the studio, a new world opened to me.

In the studio, Madonna’s presence was both inspiring and empowering. She possesses an incredible ability to draw out the best in everyone around her. Observing her meticulous attention to detail and her dedication to perfecting each track taught me valuable lessons about the creative process and professionalism in the music industry.

The opportunity to collaborate with such a legendary artist not only elevated my skills but also deepened my appreciation for music as a powerful medium for storytelling and personal expression. This remarkable experience has left an indelible mark on my artistic journey, fueling my passion and influencing my own music in profound ways.

Madonna went on tour with Madame X – described as a bold reimagining of pop spectacle for a theater stage, merging new music with political messages and intimate settings. The tour was acclaimed for its creativity and Madonna’s ability to reinvent her performance style.

5G Concert

I performed at the world’s first 5G concert where I was singing in London and my dad playing the piano in Berlin. A pivotal moment in my life, and my first solo at young age.

3-Way Concert

We then also did the world’s first 3-way concert using 5G technology. The low latency of 5G allowed us all to be in synch and perform really well across the UK.

TEDx

I shared my behind-the-scene experiences with my father at this Covid-TEDx over Zoom. I explained how nervous and excited I was at the time of the performance.
